The Soroc was built around a 1802 microprocessor, it had (at that time) a large number of features

When an Apollo rocket was launched, a student (now a respectable professor) implemented on a Soroc a moving launch (in ascii characters).

The main disadvantage of the Soroc's was their mechanical keyboard, After about three to four years the key repeat rate became untollerable.

The manual of a Soroc IQ 120 can be found on the site of Ben Mesander, who occasionally still uses a Soroc.

The name was formed from the letters in the popular beer "Coors" as the legend is told.
