Computer museum: Sun 3's

Sun-3

The first two Sun Microsytems machines of the departement were Sun-2's. These machines were MC68010 based with a multibus backplane and SCSI disks. Around 1986 they were replaced by Sun-3's.

The Sun 3 family consists of a number of workstations and servers; The important characteristics:
