Welcome to I-NetSec-01

In 2001, the working group 11.4 on Network Security of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) organizes its first working conference on Network Security in cooperation with the research group DistriNet of the K.U.Leuven It provides an international forum for researchers, developers and users of network security technology.

This working conference is an official activity of the National Research Network on "Foundations of Software Evolution" and is partially financed by the Fund for Scientific Research Flanders (Belgium).

The conference takes place on November 26-27, 2001 in Leuven, which is one of Europe's ancient university towns with many old beautiful buildings. The town hall, the famous Beguinage (Begijnhof), the churches, cloisters and colleges stand silent witness to the rich history of Leuven and make it the interesting place it is. Leuven is only 25 km (15 miles) away from Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the centre of the European Union.

New: detailed information on how to get at the conference venue.
